**Field Research Assistant**
**Shift:** 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Hours may vary based on seasonal harvest demands.
Our client is seeking a Field Research Assistant to join their team. As a Research Assistant, you will be part of the Field Operations Teams supporting research operations. The ideal candidate will have reliability, communication skills and adaptability to align successfully in the organization.
**What’s the Job?**
+ Assist with field research operations such as planting, weeding, data collection, and detasseling crew leadership.
+ Support seed production activities throughout the season, including field checks and roguing.
+ Coordinate closely with the Agronomy Supervisor and Area Specialists on daily tasks.
+ Operate field equipment as needed and assist with harvest processes (husking, drying, conditioning) if the position extends into harvest season.
