Hardware Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Review of customer requirements, with special emphasis on those related to HW.
• Technical contact with the customer supervised by the Development Manager assigned to the project.
• Preparation of HW functional block diagrams: HW architecture.
• Performing calculations and simulations, tolerance studies and analysis, etc.
• Coordination with the purchasing department for component selection.
• Attendance to conferences and meetings with suppliers.
• Detailed design of the electronic schematic, including e-Layout guidelines.
• Collaboration with PCB design team and review of e-Layout designs.
• Assembly, test and analysis of prototypes.
• Collaboration with other departments involved in the project.
• Support to the functional, electrical, EMC and environmental validation team.
• Analysis of warranties or claims of parts in the field.
