Experience Required: The candidate should have experience in some or all of the following areas: Low-power circuits, DC/DC converters, power management methods, analogue circuits and mixed-signal circuits. Processors, digital circuits and embedded systems. Sourcing, evaluating & selecting components for new & established designs
Familiarity with the major manufacturers, distributors and sources of components
Bench & lab testing techniques to ensure the components perform (standalone and populated into PCBs) per the data sheets
Additional Requirements: The Successful candidate should also:
Have a degree, or postgraduate qualification, in Electronic Engineering 5+ years of experience in consumer products, component engineering, embedded systems, and debugging
Have excellent attention to detail, especially for review of spec sheets – electrical & physical characteristics of components
