Job Description

Transnet SOC Ltd in Saldanha is seeking a Marine Pilot to protect ships from collision, grounding and other hazards by providing accurate navigational advice to the vessel master. The pilot may also safely conduct navigation and maneuvering in pilotage waters as approved by the master.

Responsibilities include manoeuvring within port limits, safe docking and shifting, maintaining contingency plans, and ensuring timely, efficient service while upholding safety and environmental standards.
