Job Description

Role: Guidewire Developer

Location: Toronto, ON

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in Configuration/integration and Guidewire Implementations in Policy Center
  • 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, JMS, JPA)
  • Able to configure/Integrate the applications using XML and GOSU
  • Insurance Knowledge specifically Personal Lines Claims and Commercial Claims
  • Relational Database and Data Modeling experience
  • Solid Java server‑side programming experience with a solid understanding of object‑oriented concepts
  • Experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with messaging, Webservices and database connectivity
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
