GTEC Test Engineer

The GTEC Test Engineer role is responsible for creating hydraulics testing reports for all pumps. Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes involving machining, assembly, and testing. Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production. Analyzes and improves quality, cost, and delivery by using Lean and Six Sigma tools. Provides engineering support in production departments by trouble shooting and resolving technical issues.

The position will be located at the Flowserve GTEC Laguna in Torreon, Coahuila.

• Execution of the performance test of pumps as well as complete units.
• Provide guidance to all (operational) activities related to the physical testing of centrifugal pumps and complete unit tests and assess (hydraulic) performance and mechanical behavior (vibrations, temperature, sound). <...
