Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Design Engineer is responsible for creating designs, 3D models, manufacturing drawings, generating bills of materials, and providing technical support for manufacturing and assembly processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create designs drawings, and other documents with the help of CAD tool.
  • Generates bills of material and manufacturing drawings for engineered products.
  • Identify new/improved design standard and procedural documents.
  • Responsible for identifying upgrades opportunities for processes and products.
  • Perform basic design calculations.
  • Take ownership of engineering activities.
  • Collaborate with BU’s and GTEC Engineers to improve the Customer Satisfaction and Employee Engagement.
  • Have strong collaboration with project team.
  • Follow engineering best practices and Flowserve standards.
  • Work with other Design Engineers to promptly investigate & resolve shop floor problem...
