Job Description
The Pickering Group is a family‑owned, UK‑based electronics manufacturer established in 1968, specialising in high‑quality switching, simulation and relay products for industries such as aerospace, automotive and defence.
The Procurement Assistant reports to the Procurement Manager and supports the daily acquisition of both direct and indirect purchases, while maintaining accurate procurement records, liaising with suppliers and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue and manage RFQs for electronic components and analyse supplier quotations.
- Process purchase requests through X3, MRP suggestions, inter‑company orders and non‑stock part requests.
- Ensure accurate data entry into the X3 ERP system for order acknowledgements and updates.
- Run MRP functions on X3 and address procurement needs as required.
