Duck Bay Lodge is looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team for the 2026 upcoming season (May-Mid October). This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping the property in top shape, and can handle a variety of on‑hand tasks. Our lodge is located on Hay Island in the Sabaskong Bay, in Lake of the Woods, offering a unique and rewarding work experience in a beautiful setting. We are looking for a GroundsKeeper/Dock Hand/Maintenance person.

Responsibilities

  • Lawn care, trimming and general grounds maintenance
  • Basic repairs around the lodge, cabins, docks, boats and generator
  • Assisting with dock work
  • Coordinate daily dock operations: arrivals/departures of boats, loading/unloading guests luggage and lodge supplies and guest transfers
