Job Description
- Performs duties as directed by the superintendent and/or assistant superintendent
- Operates a variety of powered and non-powered hand tools to carry out tasks such as, but not limited to, weed eating, edging, blowing and pruning.
- Course setup and daily course preparation
- Maintains bunkers, bunker surrounds, pond banks, creeks and fence lines
- Mows areas as instructed with various forms of push and riding mowers
- Keeps golf course, grounds, and structures clean and presentable
- Assists in repair projects/improvements such as drainage and irrigation repair and installation of sodding and seeding
- Tree and shrub planting, pruning, and removal, leaf/debris removal and under-brushing
- Spot sprays weeds and applies fertilizers on golf course and grounds
- Reports problems concerning equipment to the equipment manager, superintendent or assistant superintendent
