Ground Control EIT.

Description:

The Ground Control EIT will assume responsibility for all short-term ground control issues (determined by the 3-month schedule), including planning and implementation of solutions. The Ground Control EIT will report to the Senior Ground Control.

The Ground Control EIT will be expected to adjust the ground control planning schedule in accordance with the short-term mining plan within their specific area and generally be aware of and contribute to the overall mine targets. 

They will provide all ground-support plans & geotechnical information to the planners and the operating groups in an accurate and timely manner to assist the mine in meeting or exceeding its targets. The Ground Control EIT is expected to complete underground inspections at a minimum of 3 times per week, to keep updated with the ground control requirements of various areas, to respond to ground occurrence reports or requests for ground control inspections, and to conduct ...
