Grain Procurer

GRAIN PROCURER a Growing maize milling company with an established brand situated in Delareyville, seeks to appoint an experienced campaigner to fill the above position. The incumbent will report to the Chief Executive Officer. The purpose of the job is to ensure that all grain procurement is done to maximize returns while maintaining competitive pricing, managing transactions to follow company risk management strategies, ensuring sustainable supply of grain to the business.
The job entails:
Develop and implement grain procurement strategies and pricing models
Analyse grain market trends, as well as seasonal and geographical market characteristics
Do forecasting
Cost efficient procurement of grain
Networking and negotiating contracts with suppliers
Safex trading
Risk management
Predict and capture opportunities in future markets, while limiting risk exposure.
