Graduate Transition Initiative – Junior AI Engineer

Role Summary

The Junior AI Engineer will contribute to the development and deployment of AI/ML capabilities within COREsight, C-CORE’s operational Maritime Domain Awareness platform. The role focuses on target correlation algorithms, geospatial foundation models, and the build-out of production ML pipelines supporting satellite-based maritime surveillance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine ML models for maritime target correlation, integrating satellite imagery, AIS, and RF data sources.
• Research, evaluate, and adapt geospatial foundation models for remote sensing and Earth observation tasks relevant to maritime domain awareness.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of MLOps infrastructure including model registry, experiment tracking, automated retraining, validation, and staged deployment.
