Graduate Assistant - Athletics and Recreation, Programs and Facilities

The Graduate Assistant (GA) will work 20 hours per week and receive up to 24 credits of tuition and student fee waivers: 9 for fall, 9 for spring and 6 for summer.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Assists with the preparation, organization and monitoring of on-campus Athletics and Recreation programs, facilities and special events.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: By the Associate Athletic Director of Athletics & Recreation Operations.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None


CORE DUTIES:

Assist in the preparation, organization and monitoring of Athletics & Recreation activities, practices, programs, and competitions in the Adrian Tinsley Center and Thornburg Fitness Center.

Assist the ATC student employees in ensuring building or gymnasium access is restricted to eligible user groups while also assisting guests and visitors.

Assist in the development of staff schedules for student employees.
