Grader Operator / Fine Grade Specialist

Sewells Paving is looking for an experienced Grader Operator to join our team in the Fredericton area.

We are looking for a long‑term team member who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of proper grading in the finished asphalt product. This is not an entry‑level position. The successful applicant must have experience fine grading for asphalt and understand elevations, drainage, and percentage of slope.

Requirements:

• Experience operating a motor grader
• Experience fine grading for asphalt paving
• Ability to read and understand grades and slope percentages
• Attention to detail and pride in finished work
• Ability to work with paving crews and foremen
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience with GPS or laser grading systems is an asset
