GPS Technician

Job Summary

Responsible for the installation and repair of GPS Fleet Tracking Units / Telematics Equipment into customer vehicles of all types.

Major Responsibilities

• Managing the GPS units’ installations / Removals / Transfers and ensuring proper functionality of the unit by coordinating with the customer support agent.
• Ensuring the vehicle is left in the same condition it was at the handover.
• Adhering to schedules set by the customer support agents and being present at the customer location on time.
• Using only the tools approved by the technical supervisor.
• Keeping all tools and company assets in good working condition.
• Reporting any damage or loss of tools or assets to the technical supervisor.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the SamTech uniform.
• Preparing a detailed report after each customer visit and submitting it to the customer support agent on the same day via email.
