Government Contracts Associate (Mid-Level)

Venable LLP's Government Contracts group seeks an experienced associate to join the practice in the Washington, DC, or Tysons office.

The qualified candidate has a minimum of two years of experience working in the government contracts and/or grants space. Qualified candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) requirements, the Uniform Guidance, investigations involving government contracts or grants, False Claims Act actions, bid protests and prime/subcontractor disputes. Candidates should have a demonstrated record of excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong academic credentials. Successful candidates will have law firm, government and/or clerking experience.
