Scope of Work
Project Overview:
Set up and deploy a simple serverless backend using Google Cloud, provisioned via Pulumi (Infrastructure as Code), with a API endpoint.
Deliverables:
Google Cloud Setup
Configure a Google Cloud Project (or use existing one)
Enable required APIs (Cloud Functions / Cloud Run)
Set up basic IAM roles
Pulumi Infrastructure (IaC)
Create Pulumi project (TypeScript or JavaScript)
Define infrastructure:
Serverless service (Cloud Function or Cloud Run)
Required permissions
Deploy infrastructure via Pulumi
API
Create a basic Express-based API endpoint
One test route (e.g., /health or /hello)
Deploy to Google Cloud serverless service
Testing & Verification
Provide public endpoint URL
Demonstrate successful API response
Documentation
Short README including:
How to run Pulumi deploy
How to update API
How to redeploy
