Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Oracle Database solutions on GCP.
• Lead migration of Oracle databases from on-premises to GCP.
• Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
• Optimize Oracle SQL queries and database performance.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical databases.
• Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Manage GCP infrastructure components including Compute Engine, networking, and storage.
• Apply security best practices (IAM roles, encryption, access control).
• Automate provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar tools).
