Job Description


JOB SUMMARYThe GMS Application Developer designs, develops, and supports a suite of Electric Power Grid Applications, including Energy Management System (EMS) applications such as Topology Processor, Power Flows, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, Load Frequency Control, Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS), ICCP, SCADA, CIM Importer, Interfaces, Dynamic Stability Analysis, Load & IRR Forecasting, PMU, and Network Model Management System (NMMS). The role adheres to software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, performing testing and validation to deliver quality software to customers. This position reports to the Supervisor/Manager of Grid & Market Solutions (GMS) Technology Development – Grid team.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support EMS applications including Power Flows, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, Load Frequency Control, Load Forecast, DTS, and custom client's EMS applications.
