Enhance satellite operations at Globalstar as a Gateway Technician in Montague, ON. Oversee facility management, maintain satellite systems, and ensure uptime of essential resources.
In this technical operations position, the Gateway Technician will report to the Regional Manager and engage in on-site facility activities. This role involves maintaining power systems, HVAC, and fire suppression, while also managing Gateway RF subsystems. Collaboration with external vendors is crucial for maintaining site operations and adhering to provided documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain Globalstar satellite earth station
• Monitor and maintain power systems, HVAC, and fire systems
• Ensure Gateway RF subsystem uptime and monitoring
• Coordinate maintenance activities with external vendors
• Follow established procedures and documentation
Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 2 years experience in a related industry preferred
