Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation of substances and formulations based on available scientific data according to EU CLP regulation and similar regulations worldwide.
  • Preparation of safety data sheets (SDS) and classification proposals for single substances as well as for final products according to EU CLP and GHS standard.
  • Monitoring upcoming developments under the EU Chemical Strategy for Sustainability in the area of hazard communication/classification & labelling and leading cross-functional implementation projects.
  • Quality control of SDS and other relevant data (internally & externally).
  • Support in the global rollout of the SDS software and in maintaining the database.
  • Knowledge about transport classification and labelling requirements.
  • Providing technical support & training on topics related to EU CLP regulation and hazard communication internally.
