The role of the Senior Estimator;

  • Produce estimates for a high end manufactured range of aluminium glazing systems such as: aluminium windows and doors, curtain walling, glazing
  • Review tender documents and produce high quality tender returns
  • Utilise specialist estimating software to determine material costs
  • Negotiate prices with supply chain and gather quotations for projects
  • Liaise and build relationships with main contractor through the project and beyond
  • Ensure that the internal CRM system is regularly updated
  • Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met
