GL Accountant

As part of the SHS Accounting & Controlling organization, you will be responsible for the financial closing and reporting of the assigned SHS Varian entities owned by Hub Asia Pacific Japan (APJ).

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting activities in compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Drive timely and high‑quality closing and reporting by partnering with work partners such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Revenue and Costing, local controllers (Head of Accounting), Payroll, FP&A, Finance Business Partner, and business units.
• Handle inter‑company billings and reconciliations following SHS inter‑company accounting process and timeline (the “ICC” process).
• Maintain fixed‑assets accounting: guide business users through the end‑to‑end process; ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the FA registers; support head of accounting and business for pe...
