Elevate steel production processes as a Process Engineer at Gerdau's facility in Selkirk, MB. Engage with complex equipment and optimize operational efficiency every day.
As a key member of the team reporting to the Rolling Mill Superintendent, you'll develop crucial engineering data to guide both billet and finished product manufacturing. You'll interpret production data to monitor performance metrics, working closely with maintenance and operations teams to improve efficiency and uphold quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and prepare operational data sheets and charts
• Analyze and interpret production process metrics
• Work collaboratively with equipment maintenance teams
• Create engineering information for cost justifications
Requirements:
• Knowledge of metallurgy and steel-making techniques
