What You'll Do The ECS Special Projects Group (SPG) is hiring a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our team in Wilmington. As a Geotechnical Engineer in our SPG group, you will play a pivotal role in planning and overseeing subsurface explorations and performing analyses for transportation, facilities, water resources, and other types of projects. Responsibilities Participate in the development of geotechnical project proposals and subsurface exploration programs. Supervise related field activities and crews (drilling/test pit/inspection) to gather essential data for project assessments. Provide slope stability analysis, shallow and deep foundation design including axial and lateral capacity, retaining structure design, settlement, etc. Review post-bid construction plans to ensure adherence to project specifications and requirements.
