PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To identify, quantify, evaluate, manage and optimize the mineral resource for Implats as a major platinum producer.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
BSc Honours degree or equivalent in Geology is essential
Registration as a Professional Natural Scientist with the South African Council for Natural Scientific
Professions (SACNASP) and a member of the Geological Society of South Africa (GSSA) is essential
Minimum of 1 – 3 Years Underground mining geology experience in the Bushveld Complex is essential
Valid medical certificate or be medical fit to obtain such a certificate
COMPETENCIES:
Must have a high level of computer literacy
Must be skilled to operate specialized geological software programmes (Sable, Cadsmine, MicroStation, MRM, etc) and Datamine 3D ...
