Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst at URI-AU. The GIS Analyst will perform day-to-day tasks such as analyzing GIS data, managing spatial data, creating maps, and using GIS tools and applications to support research projects. The role also includes interpreting and visualizing geospatial data to inform decision-making and collaborating with research teams to enhance geographic data usage.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and GIS Applications.
  • Strong Analytical Skills and experience in GIS Analysis to interpret and process geospatial data.
  • Experience with Data Management, including data organization, cleaning, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with spatial data visualization techniques and mapping software.
