- Minimum of 1 year of post-graduation clinical experience in a hospital or surgical setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in common general surgical procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and bowel resections
- Strong knowledge of surgical anatomy, physiology, and pathology
