Skills & Responsibilities

• Perform general clean-up and maintenance of surface mine areas, including haul roads, pit floors, shop yards, and equipment laydown areas.
• Set up various dewatering systems, such as submersible pumps, diesel pumps, rolling out and rolling up different size discharge hoses.
• Assist equipment operators, mechanics, and other trades as needed.
• Safely operate small tools and light equipment (e.g., pressure washers, pumps, generators, skid steers, forklifts if certified).
• Support fuel, lube, or wash bay operations by assisting with fluid handling, vehicle cleaning, and parts delivery.
• Follow all site safety rules, procedures, and regulations including PPE compliance and hazard awareness.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and ongoing training as required.
