Locum cover is required from 1 October - 21 December 2025.

Position Details:

  • SMO with FACRRM/FRACGP and strong ED experience preferably with advanced Obstetrics or Anaesthetics

    • Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.

    , Located in Queensland (QLD), this is a 65-bed rural hospital offering a wide range of services. 

    The hospital is at the forefront of Rural Generalists training and is the first hospital in Australia to be accredited to train Rural Generalist interns following the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine Training Pathway.

    The Location

    This rustic country town, with a population of 7,287, is a one-hour drive south west of Cairns. Buses offer a number of return services during the seven day week between the town and the hospital.
