General Manager – Nova Inn Manning

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the General Manager is responsible for managing the day-to‑day operations of Nova Inn Manning in Manning, Alberta. Responsibilities include budgeting and financial management, maintaining cost and quality standards, maximizing profits, developing and retaining employees, and exceeding guest expectations.

Operations

  • Manage all revenue sources including rooms, food & beverage, and other services.
  • Secure new business while maintaining established cost and quality standards.
  • Promote the hotel’s policies and philosophies to employees and guests through direct and indirect interaction.
  • Develop, prepare, execute and achieve business plans and financial goals.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, liquor, gaming, environmental and fire code regulations.
  • Represent the hotel in appropriate hospitality, tourism and business associations.
