UPMC Western Maryland is looking for a full-time General Maintenance 2, Multi-Craft Maintenance Tech to support our Maintenance department!
This is a Full-time, dayshift position. Potential weekend & holiday shifts if needed by the department.
* _Candidates will be placed in appropriate job title/pay rate based on education/experience as part of the career ladder. Pay rates shown are for General Maintenance 2, Multi-Craft Maintenance Tech job title._
Responsibilities:
+ Perform general maintenance work and tasks as directed with minimal supervision.
+ Perform specific preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment.
+ Exhibit a basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry/hardware, mechanical equipment and facilities systems.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area, equipment rooms and shop areas.
+ Maintain all written logs pertaining to shift responsibilities, i.e., med gas, equipment room rounds, etc.
