Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities
  • Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Oversee preparations for monthly reporting
  • Supervise and guide GL team members
  • Allocate tasks and monitor workload distribution
  • Review team output for accuracy and completeness
  • Provide coaching, training and performance feedback
  • Drive team standardization and automation to improve productivity and efficiency and to implement best practice across entities
  • Enhance closing timelines
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP requirements and company policy
  • Maintain strong internal controls
  • Review and analyze financial results to identify and mitigate financial risks
