Summary

: The General Labourer / Construction assistant will be required to perform tasks involving physical labor at a manufacturing plant, and will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools. Responsibilities will include the assembly of products using bolts, screws, clips, soldering tools, and assorted fasteners. The General Laborer will be responsible for the efficient production of products according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies.

The General Labourer / Construction Assistant performs some or all of the following duties:

  • Bolt, screw, clip, or otherwise fasten parts and components together using hand and power tools and equipment.
  • Mark, record and report defects.
  • Lubricate, clean, maintain and repair machinery, equipment, and tools.
