Job Description

Job Summary:

Coating Operators, in Nisku, Alberta, will be responsible for the internal coating of used tubulars and related goods. Work is physical in nature and includes tasks such as: cleaning, blasting, and coating pipe, operating an overhead crane and related equipment.


Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Pipe handling
  • Thread spray application
  • Mixing/adding coating to system
  • Overhead crane operation
  • Equipment operation/set-up/adjustment
  • Follow basic safety rules
  • Report any accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards in the workplace
  • Housekeeping
  • Accountable to immediate supervisor to complete assigned job tasks in a safe manner
  • Ensure safety of themselves and fellow co-workers
  • Accountable for ensuring trainees are complying with Safe Work requirements
