General Labour with Forklift – Continental Shift

Overview

Our client in Acton, Ontario is looking for a hard working General Labourer/Forklift Operator to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to work at a kiln plant that manufactures various masonry products like concrete and cement. You will primarily be responsible for moving product or mixing product, or cleaning up from these processes.

Shift and Pay

Shift: Continental days and nights shifts switching every two weeks

Pay: $25/hour

Responsibilities

• Help move the skids to clean and then paint the lines
• Operate lift trucks to transport materials throughout the plant.
• Regularly use hand tools such as brooms, shovel, and manual painting equipment, power washer, air tools, power tools, such as drill motor, grinder, shop vacuum
• Perform minor preventative maintenance on equipment and/or partners with maintenance to solve equipment changes and problems
