ATSS has a client in Pascagoula, MS looking for a General Foreman to join their night shift. BASIC FUNCTION
A General Foreman is responsible for directing his/her workforce in the successful implementation of all craft-specific activities as it relates to associated shipbuilding and/or repair functions in addition to supporting the General Superintendent in coordinating and implementing activities within the facility. Qualifications: MINIMUM EXPERIENCE (YEARS)
• Seven years shipbuilding or five years of continuous Company experience in a similar position preferred.
MINIMUM SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of craft-specific processes and techniques.
• Well-organized supervisor with directly applicable experience in resource planning and scheduling.
• Capable of multi-tasking and can handle large volumes of work.
• Superior problem-solving ability to minimize cost and schedule delay.
• Works well with other shipyard supervisors.
