Position Overview

Under the direction of the Manager/Charge Cardiac Sonographer or Designate, the General Duty Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for obtaining high quality cardiac ultrasound images and related structures for the echocardiography physician who will interpret the examination. The incumbent may also assist in the education of new staff, students, patients and visitors; assisting in research endeavors within the department.
