General Cover Teacher – Secondary Schools (Derby)


We are seeking reliable and flexible General Cover Teachers to work on an ad hoc basis in secondary schools across Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for both part-time and full-time applicants who are passionate about education and enjoy working with young people.

Key Details:


  • Location: Secondary schools in Derby
  • Contract: Ad hoc basis
  • Hours: Part-time or full-time opportunities available
  • Pay: £150 – £180 per day

    • Role Responsibilities:


  • Provide cover for absent teaching staff across various subjects
  • Manage classrooms and ensure students remain engaged in learning
  • Follow existing lesson plans and school policies
  • Support the school in maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
