GENERAL ATTORNEY (LABOR)

Summary About the Position: You will serve as an Assistant District Counsel, Labor Counselor, in direct support of the District Counsel, furnishing expert legal advice, assistance and services to the District Commander. Legal support is also provided to senior Seattle District management officials and supervisors for the full spectrum of Federal Personnel and employment matters. The nature of legal work required to perform these duties involves complex issues, necessitating research and analysis. Responsibilities The incumbent provides legal support to Seattle District management and supervisors for the full spectrum of Federal personnel and employment matters as labor counselor. Serves as ethics advisor and labor counselor. May additionally be called upon to provide legal support across a range of mission areas, including Federal procurement, claims and appeals; and the Army permitting program; environmental law; and/or the Corps of Engineers Civil Works program.
