General Accountant

We are looking for our client for a General Accountant available immediately for an initial 4-month assignment starting mid-August. General Accountant

Our client is a well-known organisation based in Geneva.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this General Accountant will be as follows:

• Accounting and fixed asset monitoring
• VAT declarations
• Reconciliation and monitoring of balance sheet accounts
• Monitoring of the aged trial balance
• Closing tasks (entry posting, monthly reporting)
• Invoicing to be established
• Ad hoc analyses

Candidate Profile

The background and characteristics of the General Accountant we are looking for:

• Advanced diploma in accounting
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting
• Sought soft skills: Rigour, accuracy, meeting deadlines, confidentiality, adaptability, responsiveness, internal support...
