Overview

Adastra is seeking a skilled GCP Developer to join our team. As a GCP Developer, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in Python, SQL, Apache Beam or Dataflow, and various GCP services to design, develop, and deploy robust solutions.

Location:  Toronto, Hybrid (1 day/wk onsite) 

Status:  Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Apache Beam or Dataflow to process and transform large datasets.
  • Utilize strong SQL skills to optimize data queries and ensure efficient data retrieval.
  • Design, develop, and deploy applications on GCP, focusing on key services such as BigQuery (BQ), IAM, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.
