Job Description

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As a Gas Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance on existing systems, and installing new equipment.
  • Perform maintenance, and repairs on different sizes and types of propane burner systems throughout the plant. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety codes and manufacturer instructions.
  • Reading blueprints, diagrams and schematic diagrams

    • ACCOUNTABILITY: Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor

    EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Licensed Gas 1 or Gas 2 Technician
  • Demonstrated ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
  • Able to problem solve and use critical thinking and decision making skills
