We are seeking a skilled and motivated Gardener / Horticulturist to provide an effective maintenance and improvement service for Calderdale's green spaces and street scene.
Key Responsibilities
You will carry out a varied range of open space and public realm horticultural duties, including:
Routine grounds maintenance across parks, highways, and public spaces
Grass cutting, strimming, and hedge trimming
Hard and soft landscaping tasks
Fine turf management and ornamental horticulture
Tree maintenance and basic arboricultural support
Safe use, routine checks, and basic maintenance of horticultural machinery and equipment
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of presentation, safety, and environmental care
