UPMC Hamot is seeking a Full Time PCT to join the TNICU team!
Schedule:
36 hours/week
Responsibilities
Direct Patient Care
+ Provide direct patient care under the direction of the RN, including activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, feeding, toileting, ambulating, turning, repositioning, and transporting patients.
+ Perform point‑of‑care testing and nursing assistant core responsibilities, including blood glucose monitoring, vital signs, weights, intake & output, telemetry application/reapplication, Foley care, urine specimen collection, and restraint application/removal per policy.
+ Support Hospital‑Acquired Condition (HAC) and patient safety indicator prevention.
+ Assist with intra‑hospital transportation ('Ticket to Ride').
+ Provide one‑to‑one patient companionship and supervision as required.
+ Offer diversional activities to reduce or prevent restraint use.
+ Respond to emergent situations within the scope of the Nursing A...
