Charles River is seeking a full-time Prosector to perform essential necropsy tasks, including euthanizing animals and evaluating tissue samples. This role requires excellent adaptability and the ability to work independently while managing documentation and evaluations under time constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct euthanasia before the necropsy
• Evaluate tissues and abnormalities for pathologists
• Accurately weigh and document organ conditions
• Employ tissue conservation methods
• Adjust priorities based on operational needs
Requirements:
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field
• Physical capability to lift 20 kg
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Independent working style
• Flexible approach to varying tasks
