Join Dynacare as a full-time Laboratory Assistant in the South Okanagan region. You will deliver exceptional patient care, process lab specimens, and conduct venipuncture with empathy.
This full-time role involves working onsite at various LHSC locations, including West Kelowna and Penticton. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate processing and handling of specimens. You will also contribute towards achieving departmental quality metrics and regulatory compliance while assisting in a busy medical laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process blood samples and laboratory specimens accurately
• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients
• Obtain quality blood samples through skillful venipuncture
• Sort specimens and perform ECGs as needed
