Full-Time Educational Assistant

Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for two full‑time Educational Assistant positions at École Steffie Woima Elementary School (Grades Pre‑K ‑ 6) in Sylvan Lake effective immediately. The successful candidate will provide educational support in a classroom setting. Preference will be given to individuals who are certified Educational Assistants.

• Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent education is an asset
• Experience or training in supporting children with diverse and complex needs or behaviours is preferred
• Strong understanding of behaviour and emotional regulation supports and strategies
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to creating a positive learning environment
• Able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Comfortable assisting students with personal care needs, including toileting and lifting as required
