In this vital role, you report directly to the Executive Director, guiding the Social Department in alignment with Mi’kmaq traditions. Your leadership will drive program development, financial oversight, and performance monitoring of social assistance services. Candidates should be familiar with Indigenous community needs and have demonstrated experience in similar roles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise social support workers ensuring clientele are served effectively
• Lead the development and enhancement of service models
• Ensure compliance with mandated funding requirements
• Submit reports and monitor service outcomes
• Respond to complex client concerns and risks
